Review by Caroline: Moroccan Argon Oil shampoo and conditioner

Moroccan Argon oil shampoo and conditioner each boasts a precious blend of Moroccan Argon oil which helps to instantly penetrate the hair shaft restoring shine and softness while helping to strengthen and create soft, seductive, silky perfection.
They are sulfate free which means they do not contain damaging chemicals that can be damaging to hair protiens.

Argan oil is hot at the moment, the buzz ingredient that promises to transform and repair hair
I have greasy roots and dry ends and very long hair so each product I try has its work cut out!

The shampoo smells fresh with a hint of fruit and feels light and delicate in consistency.  It was easy to apply and spread through my hair no problem didn't over lather but did lather enough despite being sulfate free. It was easy to rinse and left no residue.

The conditioner was silky and smooth in texture and again was easy to apply and distribute over the hair, it wasn't heavy or cloggy and was easy to rinse out leaving it fresh and squeaky clean.

My hair being thick takes ages to dry and it also has a slight wave so is hard to dry straight.  However I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly my hair dried, how silky it felt and how straight it stayed all day despite being quite humid.

Retailing around five pounds each they are averagely priced.

Overall rating for both products 8/10.

The Weird and Wonderful: Jelly to the Head!

Today, I discovered a wonder. In attempt to colour my locks, I used hartley's jelly; odd, I know. I saw an american blogger do it, but realised that in America, artificial colour are more frequently apparent to food.

I boiled down the jelly, left it to cool a little, and then, well, just stuck my head in the bowl really. I stayed there for an hour and then rinsed it (I washed my hair before leaving it damp in the jelly compound and as I rinsed it out I used no shampoo or conditioner, although conditioner I would recommended).

My locks were still, unfortunately, brunette, but... Magic happened.

I dried my hair. It dried very fast.. No frizz. Hm, okay. I usually have dry and frizzy hair that is so hard to control, thick, frizzy, dry and takes forever to dry. It dried in about 20 minutes as opposed to the usual hour... It came out silky, and although no colour was promenant, I was  left with beautiful brassy tones and vibrancy. It's super soft and there's no knots present. This is brilliant!!
My hair appears shinier, softer, voluminous, and easy to manage. If only I could do this every wash! My hair appears healthier overall!

I've been trying to grow my hair for four years (it just won't GROW!!) and I'm secretly hoping it increases growth! Will be back with more updates soon. Try it yourself if you get a chance!
